Our business wants to continue creating shipments in ECC but wants to utilize APO to perform carrier selection. Is this possible? We can't seem to send a shipment from ECC over to APO?

We've tried per all sap help files to get our ecc shipment into apo so we can plan carriers. Per oss this isn't possible but per another SAP person who writes wiki for sap he said it is possible but didn't provide any details on how to do it. Our shipment does show up in apo in table /sapapo/vs_lcmap but has the DEL flag checked which I believe means this shipment is a simplified shipment that can't be planned in apo? Please provide any advice, details, etc?

Thanks!

It should work. Double check your integration model has the shipments active. And there is a difference between ECC shipments legs and the steps in APO, so try first with shipments with a single leg.

Hope it helps. Please let us know your results.
